"God is good all the time, all the time God is good!"

Another wonderful week has come and gone! Thanks for all the birthday wishes! It was a great day! My sweet companion Sister Esplin celebrated with me!

We were able to meet up with some missionaries who served here last year! They came back to visit and we met them for Breakfast at Tiffanys!

Little Sister Jackson sang a song for me! The Jacksons had us over for cake! As you can see we had a lot of treats! The members here take such good care of us!

Sister Esplin and I were also able to go have a lesson at the temple with the Jacksons! I LOVE the temple!

Daniel and Jessica are doing SO well! They are continuing to grow in the gospel! Daniel is so different from the first time we met him! We talked about prophets and general conference and left him with an ensign. He was so excited to read it! Jessica spent the weekend with her Mom but she asked her Dad to pick her up before church so she could still come! What an amazing family they are! So grateful to be sharing the gospel with them!

I read this talk from President Uchtdorf this past week and I really like this part,

"As you exercise little faith and begin your walk as peaceable follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, your heart will change.16 Your whole being will be filled with light.17

God will help you become something greater than you ever thought possible. And you will discover that the gospel of Jesus Christ is indeed working in your life. It works."

It got me thinking about what it means to be a follower of Christ. That seemed to be the theme for church yesterday. The previous Stake President talked on doing the little things in life. How the little things are how we follow Christ. The little things like reading the Book of Mormon everyday and praying every day! It was stressed so much yesterday and I know just how important it is! It reminded me of the mormon message: daily bread! A reminder that we all need!

I hope all yall have a blessed week! Thanks for all the love, support, and prayers! :)

All my love,
Sister Jackson

"You didn't tell me it would be this good."

I don't even know where to start! This week was SO good! Also really crazy!! It started off with zone p-day, we all went bowling!

On Wednesday we had Zone Conference! It was President Walkenhorst's last one! We sure are going to miss him!! President Mansell gets here next week! Its so crazy. I am so grateful for President and all that he has taught me! He has done so much for all us missionaries the past three years!

The Noble ward had a Fatherhood Social in honor of Father's Day on Friday! Our Bishop is the one in the blue shirt that is taking a selfie with the ward :) haha he is that cool! All the men got ties! Some great ones too!

I am so grateful for FATHERS! Especially my Dad! I have one of the best! I love you DAD!

Nolecca got baptized on Saturday!! This is the sweetest, happiest girl you will EVER meet! Nolecca went to girls camp this past week and told us that her favorite part was getting to bear her testimony for the first time! She is the kind of person that you can feel the LOVE she has for you just by her looking at you. Its a true gift that she has! I love this girl! and I am so grateful for her!

One last miracle that I want to share. This part week we started teaching Daniel. Daniel has a friend that is a member that invited him to church a couple weeks ago. They have been friends for a long time and both of them have not had the best lives. Daniels friend Brian has only been a member for 5 years, and Daniel has seen the difference the gospel has made in his life. Just recently Daniel has really seen and felt God's hand in his life. He has an 8 year old daughter that he would do just about anything for. He really wants to be a better person for her. He decided to come try out our church while his daughter was visiting family and really loves it so far. The first lesson we had with Daniel was AMAZING! We had David (a recent convert who just recently got the Melchizedek priesthood) with us. Daniel told us his life story and how he knows God is placing him on this path and he is ready to go down it! He knows he needs God in his life. He told us that he wants to stop drinking and David was able to give him a blessing. Afterwards we found out from Brian that Daniel dumped all his alcohol down the drain after we left and hasn't had a desire to drink since then. (the priesthood power is SO real) We saw him again a couple days later with his daughter, Jessica, this time and she told us that he had gotten a blessing before but it didn't work, he didn't stop. Daniel told her, "That's because they didn't have the authority." Both of them were able to see the difference! They are both so prepared for the gospel. Towards the end of the lesson, Jessica whispers something to her dad and he chuckles and says, "I know." Then Jessica says, "You didn't tell me it would be this good!" The gospel is THAT GOOD! It has been such a blessing to teach them! The spirit is so strong! We haven't even been teaching Daniel for a week and his countenance is already changing. It is amazing what the gospel can do for someone!

I LOVE this work! And I love being a missionary. I thank God everyday for this wonderful opportunity! Remember just how GOOD this gospel really is. Have a blessed week!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

Oklahoma is so BEAUTIFUL!

Hello Summer!

Here are some pictures of Noble! Its so pretty here! I LOVE IT!

Sister Esplin and I took a trip to Ada this week! Sister Nelson and I helped mow a members yard! It was in the middle of the day and SO HOT! And windy too so grass was everywhere! A lot of fun though!

Also Nolecca is getting baptized on Saturday! She lives next door to the Hopes, and they invited her to church back around Easter time and she has been coming ever since! She is 13 and has the sweetest spirit! She told us this back week, "When I read its like Gods reading to me." She is such a sweet girl! It has been such a blessing to teach her!

I can't believe I have been out for a year now! Time goes by so quickly! Sister Esplin and I celebrated by having some Braums ice cream!

I have learned so much this past year! Its hard to put everything into words! What a blessing it has been to be serving the Lord! I absolutely love it and thank our loving Heavenly Father every day for this opportunity he has blessed me with. Remember Heavenly Father loves us all so much! We just have to take the time to look for it! Keep our eyes, ears and hearts open for his spirit! Its all around us :) Have a blessed week!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

President and Sister Walkenhorst only have a couple more weeks left until they head back to California. We are going to miss them all so much!

I love Noble!

Well my first couple days in Noble, Oklahoma have been very eventful! Noble is a small town outside of Norman! Its the smallest town I have served in and also the biggest area I have covered! We have a lot of the small towns outside of Noble too! Lots of houses out in the boonies! With dirt roads! and lots of road kill on all the roads! My first day driving, Sister Esplin (my new companion :) She is great!) told me that there is lots of road kill and to be careful because the Sisters before hit a cat and possum. Well just a couple minutes after that two cute bunnies ran in the road, out of nowhere, and I hit them! :( my first road kill. I felt really bad! We ended up just laughing about it!

Noble is beautiful!! It is GREEN! And has lots of trees and hills! Lots of them! Unlike most of Oklahoma! The ward here is wonderful! The people are so loving and welcoming! Yesterday was fast and testimony meeting and it was one of the best testimony meetings I have heard! Everyone was talking about how much they LOVE the Noble ward! It seriously is so GREAT! I feel so BLESSED to be able to serve here :) I love being a missionary! And being here in Noble makes me love it even more!

The work here is moving right along! There are so many people here that are SO prepared to hear the gospel! And most of the people we are teaching are friends or family to members! All the members here just LOVE missionary work!

I hope all yall are doing well! Thanks for all the support, prayers, and love! Here is my new address:

Have a blessed week! Look for God's hand in your life! He is always there!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

There are some Jacksons in the Noble ward! Here is the future Sister Jackson! She is so cute :)

Off to Noble!

Well my time with Sister Caudill and the Village Ward has come to an end... We were really hoping for 4 transfers together but I guess 3 will do!
We decided to match for Memorial Day! Rockin' the red, white, and blue!

There is a family in the ward that we have dinner with every week! Their daughter has a snake pet, named Willow! She told us that she would watch the video for our dinner message if I held the snake! So I decided to do it, luckily the video was only 3 minutes long!

2 miracles from this week! We were trying to find Pennellen's new apartment but couldn't remember the apartment number so we decided to just knock in the general area and we met Dewanda! She was the 2nd door we knocked on and she let us in right away! She had never seen sister missionaries before! Always Elders and so when she saw us earlier that week at the apartment complex she was curious! Then we knocked on her door! It was a miracle for sure! God's hand led us to her door! 2nd miracle comes from Pennellen as well! We had just finished our lesson with her and Connie Bruce was with us. She was leaving Pennellen's when her neighbor flagged her down because she thought the truck was her sons. Well Connie starts talking with Terri (Pennellen's neighbor) and on Sunday we had a lesson with both of them! It all started because Connie had the prompting to stop and talk with her! God LOVES all of us!

Sister Long has this cute dog, E-dee bits, who I LOVE! She reminds me so much of Shadow! She also told us about this Arts festival going on in Downtown OKC! We went with Sister Hanford too and it was so much fun! Sister Caudill and I may have went a little crazy and bought a bunch of Okie-lahoma things! We got a shirt that was dyed from Oklahoma dirt! #okieoriginal

I hope yall have a blessed week! Thanks for the love and support!

All my love,
Sister Jackson
