Welcome to Seminole!

Hey Yall!
Its been a really great week! Here is me and my new companion Sister Long in front of the Seminole Church Building! Sister Long grew up in New Mexico but moved during high school to Utah! She has 3 older brothers and came out on her mission in January! She is amazing! I LOVE her! We have had so much fun together this past week and have seen SO many miracles!

Seminole is another small town like Noble! We cover part of Seminole and then a lot of little towns outside of Seminole! The Seminole ward just barely became a ward this year! It a small ward but everyone is so close! A little boy in one of the families in the ward got baptized yesterday after church and almost the whole ward was there! That is how close everyone is! And afterwards they had a lunch in! It is great :) and almost the whole ward is related to each other! It has been so fun though!

Here is a miracle that happened yesterday that I shared with my mission president:
I want to share one experience with talking with everyone. We were in an apartment complex following up with some potentials and meeting with a less active. We were just about to leave for dinner. As we were walking by the stairs we saw two people, Lisa and Chase, right below the stairs. They are amazing! And I am so glad we saw them and just started talking with them. Chase asked us about the book that was in our hand. It was the Book of Mormon. We then taught about the Book of Mormon. Lisa told us that she heard that Christ came to the Americas before. We showed her the picture and read 3 Nephi 11:15. The spirit was so strong. I could feel the spirit working through Sister Long and I! She told us she was going to read that chapter! It all made sense to her! And we are going back on Wednesday afternoon to teach her again!

So many great things have happened! I could write about so many miracles but I don't have any more time! Here are a lot of pictures from the week! Thanks for all the love and prayers! Hope yall have a blessed week!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

Started off transfers morning at Tiffanys for Breakfast! We made some friends that we had breakfast with!

Also I got to see Sister Sorensen!!!!! This was a big transfers! A lot of missionaries got moved around! It was so fun seeing everyone again :)

I love Sister Holley! I am so grateful for the time I spent with her in Noble :) The sun was right in our face haha

"Thanks for Visiting Noble"

Well it looks like I am leaving the cute town of Noble, OK. It has been a wonderful 12 weeks! I feel so blessed to have been able to be a missionary here. I am sure going to miss Sister Holley and all the people here!

On Wednesday I will be heading to SEMINOLE! To be companions with Sister Long! I am excited :) President Mansell has made a lot of changes, but they are all great changes!

This past Tuesday we got to go to the temple! I love the temple! Sister Holley and I were able to take a family name and it was such a wonderful experience. The spirit is so strong in the temple! I LOVE it!

On Saturday all the missionaries in the Norman zone, there is 20 of us, did a power hour! We said a prayer together over the phone and then all went out and did finding for an hour! Like Alma and the sons of Mosiah did! Alma 31: 32-38
"32 O Lord, wilt thou comfort my soul, and give unto me success, and also my fellow laborers who are with me—yea, Ammon, and Aaron, and Omner, and also Amulek and Zeezrom, and also my two sons—yea, even all these wilt thou comfort, O Lord. Yea, wilt thou comfort their souls in Christ.
33 Wilt thou grant unto them that they may have strength, that they may bear their afflictions which shall come upon them because of the iniquities of this people.
34 O Lord, wilt thou grant unto us that we may have success in bringing them again unto thee in Christ.
35 Behold, O Lord, their souls are precious, and many of them are our brethren; therefore, give unto us, O Lord, power and wisdom that we may bring these, our brethren, again unto thee.
36 Now it came to pass that when Alma had said these words, that he clapped his hands upon all them who were with him. And behold, as he clapped his hands upon them, they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
37 And after that they did separate themselves one from another, taking no thought for themselves what they should eat, or what they should drink, or what they should put on.
38 And the Lord provided for them that they should hunger not, neither should they thirst; yea, and he also gave them strength, that they should suffer no manner of afflictions, save it were swallowed up in the joy of Christ. Now this was according to the prayer of Alma; and this because he prayed in faith."

I am so grateful for the chance I have to be a missionary and to be out serving the Lord and finding our brethren! Their souls are precious and Heavenly Father is helping us all find success in bringing them unto Christ!

Hope yall have a blessed week! Thanks for all the prayers, love, and support!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

Heavenly Helpers

Howdy Yall! It was another great week here in Oklahoma! I don't have a lot of time today but I just wanted to share a quick miracle from this past week! We were driving in the car calling some members and felt impressed to call a specific sister that neither of us have met before. We call her and she answered and was so excited to talk with us! She told us that she just recently started reading the Book of Mormon again and wanted to call us but didn't think we would have time to come and see her. I know that the spirit prompted us to call her that day. Heavenly Father is so aware of us all! We need to remember to always follow the promptings we get. A lot of times it is just a simple thought, like calling someone. But Heavenly Father is trusting us to follow those promptings and reach out in love to his children. We get to be Heavenly Helpers!

36 And thus they were instruments in the hands of God in bringing many to the knowledge of the truth, yea, to the knowledge of their Redeemer.

37 And how blessed are they! For they did publish peace;they did publish good tidings of good; and they did declare unto the people that the Lord reigneth.

I love this gospel! And I love that we all get to be Heavenly Helpers! There are so many people that we can serve and reach out to. We are all so blessed!

Have a blessed week!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

"Thanks for all the GREATNESS"

Hello Y'all! Its been another wonderful week in Okie-lahoma!

Sister Holley and I dropped off Sister Esplin in Moore this past week. Things have been a little crazy with her gone but we are getting through it! We haven't got lost, YET! Our area is huge! Luckily a very kind member has been helping us out with directions and such. Change can be hard, but change is the joy in the gospel! My sweet companion Sister Holley told me that :) Love her!

We have been working hard to find people to teach and met sweet Ruby! Sister Esplin and I tracted into her a couple weeks ago! She wasn't too open with us then but she had a niece who was a member and said she was going to talk with her! Then we come back later with Sister Holley and it turns out Sister Holley knows her niece! and told us to come back again and this past week we came back and she let us into her home! She is so sweet. She gave us water and cookies and was so open to what we were talking about. It amazes me every time just how much Heavenly Father softens hearts.

This past week we met with Daniel and Jessica again. And sweet Jessica in her prayer said, "thanks for all the greatness." Isn't that just the cutest thing?! I love them so much! They are doing so well!

This past week was great! Not a whole lot going on but still a good week. Love all yall! Have a blessed week!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

The sky has been BEAUTIFUL these past couple days!
