"I finally found home."

Daniel and Jessica, and Mary, Danny and Kiara all got baptized on Saturday!!! Daniel said, "I finally found home." That describes all of their experiences so well! Saturday was such an amazing day! All 5 of them were baptized by David! He got baptized just a couple months ago. Watching all 5 of them was quite the experience. Mary and Kiara were baptized first and they stayed on the steps to watch Danny, and afterwards they all hugged in the font and it was such a precious moment! They were all glowing cause they were SO happy! And Daniel and Jessica, ahh, they were just so happy as well! I can't even describe the joy and the spirit that was felt this weekend! This scripture fits pretty well! Alma 36

24 Yea, and from that time even until now, I have labored without ceasing, that I might bring souls unto repentance; that I might bring them to taste of the exceeding joy of which I did taste; that they might also be born of God, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

 25 Yea, and now behold, O my son, the Lord doth give me exceedingly great joy in the fruit of my labors;

They are all SO HAPPY!

Saturday morning before the baptism we went to the temple with David to do baptisms! We have been doing an hour of family history every week and I was able to take a family name to the temple!!! What a marvelous experience! David was also baptized for his grandpa :)

I absolutely love being a missionary! And I am so grateful for all the wonderful experiences I have had as a missionary that strengthen my testimony! Love all yall! Have a blessed week!

"I testify that blessings do work"

July 18th
You You What a week! From President coming to a lesson with us, going to transfers and picking up Sister Holley to going to a wedding!!

To start off I got to see Sister Caudill again!!! I love this girl and miss her too!!!

The first picture is from last Monday evening and the wedding was on Saturday! Look at the difference! I LOVE this family! I am so happy for them!! :D

Hunter and his mom! The boy who started it all! What a great day! It was so amazing to see the whole ward pull together for a wedding that was happening in 6 days! The members all volunteered their decorations and so many people came to help set up! And it turned out so nicely! And so many people stayed to help take it down. That went way faster!

Look at how happy Mary is!!

Sunday at church, Daniel talked with one of our investigators about the stop smoking program he just finished! The spirit was so strong as he was testifying. He said, "I testify that blessings do work." (Isn't that so powerful?! He is converted to the gospel) He said he highly recommended the program. Daniel is doing AMAZING! He is getting baptized this coming Saturday as well! Him and Jessica! They made it to the wedding as well! Jessica is so cute!

To end the week of course something had to happen! We got a flat tire on the way home after dinner. Luckily the Elders and Winterton boys were super close and came to the rescue!
The past week was amazingly fantastic! I don't even have the time to describe all the joy that I have felt this past week! Sister Holley is in Noble with us! and she is AMAZING! What a sweetheart! What an amazing week. God is so nice! The church is true! And I love being a missionary! And I love being in Noble! There are so many wonderful people here. My heart is so full :)

All my love,
Sister Jackson

"Mary, Will you marry me?"

This is how I feel about the past week I have had! AKLDJFOIJKAJLEIJFLIJICCSLK

It has been a CRAZY week! Full of so many good things!!! SO MANY MIRACLES! I don't even know where to start! *Notice: this email may be long!

On Tuesday we had an official met President and Sister Mansell! I know that they are suppose to be here! They are AMAZING! I know they will bring about a lot of good in this mission. They are way different from President Walkenhorst but they are both good! They changed a lot of things already but they will bring about a lot of good! On Sunday morning we got a call from President, saying that he had a special assignment for Sister Esplin! She was so nervous that this was going to happen. She only has 4 weeks left on her mission and she didn't want to leave Noble! She will be heading to Moore, but it actually all turned out okay! President is letting her stay in Noble until after Daniel, Jessica, Danny, Mary, and Kiara get baptized in 2 weeks! What a tender mercy! Also Sister Holley is coming to Noble! We will be in a trio for 2 weeks until Sister Esplin leaves! Sister Holley and I were trained by the same Sister! We are SO excited!!! Sister Holley is amazing! I love her already :)

Daniel and Jessica are doing great! Daniel has stopped smoking and they are SO EXCITED to be baptized on the 23rd! They are so ready! It has been such a neat experience watching the changes Daniel has made. Keep him in prayers!

Now for the real cool part! Mary and Danny. First off we learned that its the Schreiner family! Not the Coker family, they aren't married yet! haha! Well on Saturday we taught them the Plan of Salvation and Gospel of Jesus Christ! It went so well! We talked about how their family can be together forever! and Mary was crying and they were all so HAPPY! Sunday we saw them again and this lesson was probably the most spiritual/amazing/cool lesson of my mission so far! They are getting baptized in about 2 weeks so we knew we had to teach them a lot of the lessons quickly! So we planned to do the Word of Wisdom and Tithing but right before we started, Sister Komers whispers, "you know they aren't married right?" uhhh so that makes them getting baptized a little more tricky. So we rearranged our plans of what to teach and started with the Word of Wisdom and both of them agreed to live the word of wisdom! They know it will be hard to stop some addictions but they have faith that God will help them! and Brother Komers gave them a blessing too! So then we decided to go over the Law of Chastity. And shortly after we started Mary tells us that neither of them have been married before. They have been together for 11 years! But never got married. We talk about how they need to be married before they can get baptized and Danny then, for the fourth time, KNEELS DOWN IN FRONT OF EVERYONE AND ASKS MARY TO MARRY HIM!!!!!! It was the sweetest moment ever! They are planning a wedding for this SATURDAY!! Bishop is going to marry them at the church and afterwards have a little party at the Komers home! And the thing they are most excited for, is getting sealed in the temple a year from now!! This family has completely changed their WHOLE life around because of the gospel. Every step back they are experiencing before getting baptized they are just facing it square on! They are so excited to be baptized! They have one more set back that they have to get through first so please keep them in your prayers! This family is SO happy and so ready to be baptized!! During the lesson I found out that the Komers haven't been to the temple yet. Shortly after the 5 kids were adopted, they got Lyla and so they waited for her to get adopted! And now next month they are going to the temple to be sealed! Brother Komers said he has waited 40 years for this family!!! I just can't express how I felt during that whole lesson!!!! :D I am just so happy for these families!!! Brother Komers sees Mary and Danny as his kids and their kids as his grand kids! And they just talked about being one happy family!!!! The gospel truly makes us SO happy! It unites families! I love the Schreiner family! And I have LOVED the experience of teaching them. This has been a huge tender mercy for me!

My prayer Book of Mormon reading is going well! As I have been reading this past week I have reflected a lot on faith and I read this in the Bible Dictionary and loved it!
The Lord has revealed Himself and His perfect character, possessing in their fulness all the attributes of love, knowledge, justice, mercy, unchangeableness, power, and every other needful thing, so as to enable the mind of man to place confidence in Him without reservation.
As we pray our relationship and faith in Him will be strengthened! I am so grateful for the chance we have to pray! To have a Heavenly Father who loves us so much! Have a blessed week!

All my love,
Sister Jackson

Happy Fourth!

This past week was absolutely wonderful!!! Full of fun festive things for the Fourth of July! and of course tons of miracles!!!

Sister Esplin and I set a goal to see all the members in our area and this past week we met SO many of them! We are seeing lots of finding miracles!

This past Sunday was an AMAZING day! First off we were able to see Daniel and Jessica before church and have a lesson. They are still doing great! And second it was fast and testimony meeting! I have always enjoyed hearing everyone's testimony. I particularly liked these two: a little boy said "I'm grateful that I'm Mormon" and another person said, "Isn't it remarkable that thousands of people today are saying 'Jesus is the Christ'?" What beautiful testimonies! After church we had a lesson with a family that is a member referral. The same member that referred Daniel and Jessica: Brother Komers! This family is really special to me! The Cokers! So the Komers were fostering a little boy and that little boy was the Cokers. Well now the Cokers have him back but they are still in good communication with the Komers. And Brother Komers being the great member missionary he is, invited them all to church! So the Cokers have been going the past 6 weeks! and just this past week we were able to have a lesson with them in the Komers home! (sidenote: Brother Komers has only been a member for 5 years... and has 6 children that are adopted- 5 of them siblings... and the kids all took the missionary lessons and got baptized, pretty cool right?) The whole situation is really special because it reminds me of my family! Well anyways we had a lesson with the Cokers and it went really well! I even got a little teary eyed. The spirit was so strong! And Brother Komers bore such a powerful testimony of how the gospel has blessed his life. Last Sunday, Mary Coker came up to us and told us her daughter wanted to get baptized and everyone told her to come talk to us! Her little girl is SO excited! And Mary and Danny, the parents, are getting baptized as well! All of Brother Komer's friends are preparing to be baptized July 23rd! What a great day that will be for Brother Komers to see all his friends, that he loves, join the church :) I am just so grateful to be a part of this! To be an instrument in God's hands. I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!

On Friday we went to this new place Torchy's for lunch! They have tacos and it was SO good!

On July 2nd we had a Stake Activity for the Fourth! There was such a great turnout! Daniel and Jessica came! That is Daniel holding up the baby! The baby is his friend, Brother Komer's baby!

That was also the day that I met President and Sister Mansell! Some of the missionaries invited them and they came! We met their three kids as well! They are really nice!

Happy Fourth of July! We just partied with all the missionaries that day! Grilled hot dogs! Had lots of food!
Played some games! and sports as well!

And we couldn't stay out for the fireworks this year but Sister Esplin and I did some poppers! And saw a couple fireworks from our apartment! It was such a fun day :)
Just this past week I started the Book of Mormon over focusing on prayer. And the cool part is my family is doing it with me! I like how at the very beginning Lehi prays! and he sees a vision and then testifies to all the people of the things he learned. The people get angry at him and don't listen. Then Lehi receives the revelation that he needs to leave Jerusalem. It all started with a prayer! Just like Joseph Smith! One thing I noticed was just how often Nephi and Lehi turned to God. Their first source of help was Heavenly Father. True to the Faith says, "As we make a habit of approaching God in prayer, we will come to know him and draw ever nearer to him."

Hope yall have a blessed week! Love all yall! :)

All my love,
Sister Jackson

There have been some really cool thunder and lightning storms this past week! I LOVE the sky!
