Happy Monday

Well, where should I start?! So much happened this past week! Sister Jensen and I had our last couple days together before she left for Norman. And in those last couple days every member decided they wanted to take us out for ice cream. We had so much ice cream haha, it was crazy. On wednesday Sister Wedemeyer came back to Lawton with me! At transfers it was so fun to see all the missionaries that came out with me again! There is 6 of us, including Sister Wedemeyer and I, from my MTC district that our companions with each other again. How crazy is that?! It was sad telling Sister Jensen goodbye! I learned so much from her! She was a great help to me! I know she will do wonderful in her new area.

Well since Sister Wedemeyer got here we have seen many miracles! Dillon is continuing progressing! We were finally able to get in Bethany again. She has had so much going on the last little bit but we were finally able to see her again! We also were able to get in with two members from the ward that I never have gotten in with before, Sister Cruze and Darrell! It was a wonderful experience with both of them! I am excited to start working with them more :)

On saturday we had a ward activity out at the Wildlife Refuge! We had a great turnout! We had dinner and games! Everyone seemed like they were having a great time! Sunday was my first time going to the Fort Sill Military Branch! Some of the missionaries here in Lawton have the opportunity to go teach the soldiers in Basic Training on sundays. And yesterday was my first time! It was such an amazing experience! I LOVED it! The schedule of church is a little different. The first hour is Sacrament Meeting and then after that there is a sunday school class for all the members and then all the visitors go to the missionary lessons. They have the 5 missionary lessons divided up into three classes and the missionaries rotate teaching them. After that they do a short Relief Society/Priesthood and then fellowship for the last 30 minutes of church. What a spiritual experience it was! My testimony grows everyday! I love being a missionary!! Have a blessed week!
